Bazaar of Bad Dreams is a short story collection to familiarize yourself with his writing. That’s a nice place to start, but look to others for advice on his full novels, most are still on my tbr.

Favourites of mine, but you might want to look at his short story collections too. I liked Night Shift.

Misery is considered one of his best works and it’s not very long.

I normally recommend the dead zone as the best starter book

My (maybe unpopular?) opinion is that Stephen King has got better and better with age. I started with the newest book and worked backwards. I thought it was a great way to read his stuff.
Must say I don’t love the early classics as much as most tho.

I read misery…. It was a really scary situation the lead was in. A great book.
