Hello everyone,
I hope this allowed but I was wondering what is everyone’s suggestion in the most pretentious books you believe are worth a read? For example, I loved “Independent People” by Halldor Laxness, books by Don DeLillo and Ayn Rand. There is just something so wonderfully satisfying reading the pretentious, hard-to-read, “no one has ever heard of it” type of books.
