I'm looking for sad books that teach me about the nature of man. I read No Longer Human and loved it. I enjoy seeing the pitiful side of human nature.
My favorite author is Dostoyevsky. I also like books that make people cry. I read Les Noces barbares by Yann Queffélec (one of my fav ever. You should read if you are like me). Recently, I read La Méduse Noire by Yann Queffelec and cried like a baby. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would really appreciate it. 🙂
