I really like novels with a dark/dry sense of humour. Books that make me laugh include Catch-22, The Heart's Invisible Furies, and The Sellout. Whilst these are not strictly comedies, I like their humour.
Can anyone recommend me any contemporary novels that have a similar sense of dark/dry humour, please?

Under the Frog by Tibor Fischer.
The book cover labels it ‘A Dark Comedy” and it is. It’s set in Hungary between WWII and the 1956 uprising. The writing is darkly comic and very funny, but it’s also very moving, with a lot of memorable characters, lines, and scenes.
You want the early novels of Evelyn Waugh: DECLINE AND FALL, VILE BODIES, SCOOP, and A HANDFUL OF DUST.
Beat the reaper by Josh Bazell. Very darkly humorous.
