Looking for books that have Neil Gaiman vibes. I recently burned through everything by M. R. Carey and loved them all (Fellside a little less so). Need more books to add to the list. Not really sure what the genre is – fiction, sci-fi?, fantasy ish, slightly out there but not several hours of world building?

Gaiman cowrote Good Omens with Terry Pratchett. You might try Pratchett’s Discworld series. I’d suggest starting with Guards! Guards!
Joe Hill always reads to me like a mixture of Gaiman and Hill’s dad, Stephen King.
His first novel, HEART-SHAPED BOX, is a great place to start.
