I’m pretty new to reading, and only even enjoyed mystery novels, but I read Yellowface and absolutely loved it. The author’s other books are very sci-fi, which I’m not into, so I can’t explore her other work.

I don’t know what genre to even call this book.

    Any thoughts?

“The Other Black Girl” by Zakiya Dalila Harris has a lot in common with “Yellowface” – literary thriller/publishing industry satire with a young woman protagonist.

I have “Disorientation” by Elaine Hsieh Chou on hold at the library; I can’t personally vouch for it (yet) but have seen it favorably compared to “Yellowface” in several reviews.
