    I have a shelf of books that I refer to as my scandals and kerfuffles section. It's my nonfiction section that includes things like:

    • Bad Blood by John Carrreyrou

    • Dark Wire by Joseph Cox

    • The Trolls of Wall Street by Nathaniel Popper

    • Provenance by Laney Salisbury, Aly Sujo

    • Smartest Guys in the Room by Bethany McLean

    • Number Go Up by Zeke Faux

    • All the Presidents Men By Woodward and Bernstein

    • Wonder Drug by Jennifer Vanderbes

    • Empire of Pain by Patrick Keefe

    • Veritas by Ariel Sabar

    and honestly a bunch more but I was wondering what else people had to offer. I like books that are narrative nonfiction covering, well, various scandals and kerfuffles. I like to learn from these books. I bolded the ones I particularly liked.

    1. _Bad Blood_ is the GOAT in my opinion. I’ve read many of those on your list. Here are a few others that I read over the past year or so:

      – {{DisneyWar by James B. Stewart}}
      – {{Unscripted: The Epic Battle for a Media Empire and the Redstone Family Legacy by James B. Stewart and Rachel Abrams}}
      – {{Big Vape: The Incendiary Rise of Juul by Jamie Ducharme}}
      – {{The Fall: The End of Fox News and the Murdoch Dynasty by Michael Wolff}}
      – {{Network of Lies: The Epic Saga of Fox News, Donald Trump, and the Battle for American Democracy by Brian Stelter}}
      – {{Going Infinite by Michael Lewis}}

      Enjoy!

    2. The Panic Virus, by Seth Mnookin. It’s about the anti-vaccine movement. This is an older book and it focuses, at least initially, on Andrew Wakefield and his falsified research linking autism to vaccination. It’s pretty detached and not hyper-dramatic, so there’s this point at which I was just kind of reeling about what was going on.
