Hi everyone,
My boyfriend recently shared with me that he's feeling a bit lost and is interested in exploring Christianity to help find some direction. He's not very religious but thinks this might be part of the reason he feels this way.
He really enjoyed The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck*, so I'm looking for contemporary Christian books that are written in a conversational tone (with a bit of humor) and discuss topics like time, existence, and life's purpose.
Here are some I found:
- The Life You’ve Always Wanted: Spiritual Disciplines for Ordinary People by John Ortberg
- For the Love: Fighting for Grace in a World of Impossible Standards by Jen Hatmaker
- The Road Back to You: An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile
- Searching for God Knows What by Donald Miller
- You Are Here: A Simple Guide to the Universe by Chris Hadfield
- Grace for the Moment: Inspirational Thoughts for Each Day of the Year by Max Lucado
I’d love to hear your thoughts on these books if you’ve read any of them, or if you have any other suggestions that fit what I'm looking for.
Thanks in advance!
