I've been reading a ton of romcoms lately and I'm really wanting something a bit different (for a while at least). I used to love a good COZY mystery (nothing scary or super suspenseful) and I'd love for some new suggestions in that category.
My favorite thing about cozy mysteries is a fun town where you get to know all the crazy characters in the town as the series progresses.
Series I've loved in the past include –
Hannah Swenson series by Joanne Fluke
Knitorious Murder series by Reagan Davis
Hygge Hideaway series by Thea Cambert (Cambert gets a little formulaic after a bit but it was still a fun read)
Thanks!

Maybe the Flavia de Luce series? About a preteen detective and takes place in a post WWII old British town. Laugh out loud funny and super likable characters!
I’ve found myself REALLY enjoying the Mrs. Murphy series by Rita Mae Brown. It’s about a woman in a small town, Harry, and her cat, Mrs. Murphy, and her dog, Tucker. It includes human POVs and animal POVs and it’s so cool reading the town’s pets’ opinions of the murderer on the loose. I’ve only read a few out of a fairly long series, but so far it’s been great and I’m not even the biggest fan of cozy mysteries!
