Growing up, my mom was an avid book reader, and she had this book sleeve/book cover that was a common paperback book size, and you would slide the front and back cover of the book into it (it was in two parts, a front cover piece, and a back cover + spine piece) and it would make a convincing facsimile of a hardcover book out of the softcover book.
I remember the book sleeve was purple and it had a little golden turtle embossed on it.
I've been trying to find something like that online, and I've come up empty. There are some leather and faux leather Bible covers that are kind of similar, but nothing quite like that product my mom had which would just turn any book that it fit into a pseudo-hardcover book. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Does anyone know if the brand still exists, or if there are similar products still on the market?
