    Hello

Any suggestions for books that deal with death and grief …. That’s somewhat healing!

I lost my mum to cancer 2020 and I feel like I’m just now processing it.

Sorry if it’s too vague but those that can relate can relate.

    Thank you in advance

    1. I am sorry for your loss! I know how you feel – and then again, I don’t, because it’s different for everyone. As is the literature that might help.

A memoir that I loved was **All The Beauty in the World** by Patrick Bringley. The author lost his brother when he was in his 20s, which led him to completely reassess his life goals. He quit his promising but stressful in culture journalism in order to spend his time at the most beautiful place he knew: the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He took up a job as a museum guard, which he kept for 10 years. In his book, he talks about how he found a place of peace and beauty among the pieces of art that he loves and came to terms with his grief.
