Just as the title says. I have finished Worm recently and found that my favorite character pretty much is someone like this, so I figure it's best to see if there's anything else like her in the wider book scene. Any genre is fine with the exception of non-fiction. I'm still uncertain of magical realism books too so those are out as well.
The main points I want is that the female lead should be smart no matter what else they do, as well as perhaps, finding their mouth sometimes bring them trouble as well. It's especially fun to see an MC that knows their mouth is trouble, still lets it run and got the consequences… and yet knows to keep using it, just better (either by becoming stronger / having a bodyguard or some sort). Definitely don't want any het romance though. Focus on friendship or having queer romance is fine, however.
(Although I will prefer any romance to be the sort of where it's having a strong, intense care and protective feeling to one another that blurs the line between platonic and romantic)
Hopefully there's something, if there's anything you think that kinda fits the requirement, you can recommend that as well–just tell me which requirement did the book not fit in.
