Hi everyone,
I'm on the hunt for books — or even a collection of books — that provide deep, comprehensive knowledge on farming, homesteading, and land management. It feels like we’re losing so much valuable information with the passing of generations who grew up working the land, and many of the books available today seem more geared toward DIY hobbyists rather than offering the critical, detailed knowledge I’m looking for.
I’m interested in books that cover everything from traditional farming techniques to soil health, crop rotation, livestock care, and long-term land stewardship. What trees to grow, what to look for in the weather, how to lay a fence or hedge. I'm looking for resources that go beyond the basics and delve into the complexities and nuances of truly working the land.
If anyone knows of any books or collections that have stood the test of time, or more recent works that are well-researched and thorough, I’d greatly appreciate your recommendations!
Thanks in advance!
