I imagine this post will have people thinking Im insane. I think the same. For context: Im a former bookworm child who stopped reading in middle school due to loss of interest and a health crisis. Since then I havent been able to get back into it. I knew I needed something BIG to pull me back in, because I have ADHD and its hard to keep my attention. After hearing about how insane it was, I listened to Haunting/Hunting Adeline on audible. Something about how insane the book was make me keep wanting more. I was staying up late at night during my family's lake house trip to read it. I finished both within 6 days, taking about 35 hours total. The thing is, I want to experience it all again. I don't know why, since the behaviors in it are extremely problematic. Maybe it was the shock value that was what did it, or how dark it was. Im not sure. Sorry for the info dump, but suggestions are appreciated.
