I'm 24 and ever since I was a child I was obsessed with horror books and movies. I'd like to start reading fantasy books because the covers are always so beautiful and colorful. What should I start with?
Maybe try **Between Two Fires** by Christopher buehlman. It’s a middieval horror/fantasy novel. It’s low fantasy, so not much magic and such, but a good novel.

Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson
Babel by RF Kuang

The Earthsea cycle is always my recommendation. It’s very light on the placenames and character names where some high fantasy gets very Tolkien like (long very fantasy like names to remember). The books are short and the story is always interesting, very good intro to the genre.
For something more modern I’d probably recommend the mistborn series, the scholomance series and the rivers of London series.
If you really want to dive in the deep end, lord of the rings, the stormlight archive or the wheel of time are all fantastic series to get lost in.
