I can’t stand dust jackets. They’re just kind of annoying when you’re trying to read a book. The book itself just slips around inside of it, but I can’t bring myself to remove it entirely (for absolutely no logical reason).
It’s nice when I get books from the library and the dust jacket is in plastic and glued into place in the book.
But buying books for myself, I generally prefer a nice trade paperback because I won’t have to deal with an awkward dust jacket.
