Thinking of shows/movies like White Lotus, Get Out, or The Menu when I made this, but in general I like the perspective of an outsider trying to fit in but there is some real crazy shit going down. I don’t think I’ve seen many books like this.
A normal girl goes to a ridiculously bougie spa retreat with yoga and massages and surprise, it’s super screwed up behind the scenes and now she’s fighting for her life. Something like that would be awesome.

It might veer too much into fiction-about-fiction, but “Skein Island” by Aliya Whiteley is about a woman going on an all-female retreat to an island where women compose their life stories.
I saw Nine Perfect Strangers and that was based on a book. If the book is like the TV series it fits this really well! It was set in a very bougie wellness spa with definite cult vibes.
