As I continue reading female authors, I find being in a romantic relationship is often discussed such as in The Woman Destroyed by Simone DeBeavour, To the Lighthouse from Virginia Woolf, and the Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing. I can feel how the women felt in their relationships, the struggles, the doubts and the highs. What would be a male equivalent for something like this?
To be clear, I am not looking for recommendations of yearning, like Love in the Times of Cholera, or the Museum of Innocence. I want to read something that specifies how men feel in a long term relationship. I'm trying to look for something more on the positive side, if it exists…
