Last fun book I read in this vein was Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. My attention span is shot and anything too overly detailed or in depth with a learning curve hurts my brain (looking at you Dune).
I’m looking for a fast page turner with a steady rhythm, keeps you engaged and on your toes, natural, realistic prose, and not too long.
I want something I can be engrossed in, but not feel like I have to take notes or take long pauses in between to digest wtf I just read. Can be an old book or new book. Bonus points if the book includes historical facts or setting. Thank you for your time!
