I'm looking for recommendations for well-written literary/women's fic that focus on characters and relationships with a romance subplot.
I've tried a few popular romance authors and I have not really enjoyed them, including Emily Henry, Ali Hazelwood, Carley Fortune, and Abby Jimenez. Not really looking for the typical rom-com tropey romance vibes.
I've really enjoyed Pachinko by Min Jin Lee and Circe by Madeline Miller which aren't necessarily the genre I'm hoping for, but maybe that's helpful.
Any recommendations appreciated! 🙂
