I’m sure everyone knows at least one person who is incredibly witty, always able to make a clever joke or a funny comment in just about any situation, and effortlessly making everyone around them laugh. It’s like they have a natural talent for humor and can lighten the mood with ease. I’ve always been curious if this ability is something people are born with or if it’s a skill that can be learned or developed over time.

I’ve recently heard that wit and humor can actually be improved through consistent exposure to witty, humorous content, especially by reading books that focus on clever dialogue or sharp humor. Apparently, by immersing yourself in such material, you can train your brain to think more quickly and respond with humor.

Does anyone know if this is true? If so, could you recommend any books that might help someone develop a sharper sense of humor or wit?
