I treat a chapter like a commitment so once I start it there is no way I’m putting a book down until I finish it. But I also happen to have an attention span of an ant which sometimes it makes it really hard to finish it in a single sitting. That’s why I’m asking you for suggestions of books with short chapters.

Since it’s autumn I welcome all kinds of horror, spooky stuff, weird fiction and everything that fits the vibe.

I’m not really into romance and YA so not looking for that.

World War Z has short chapters, and it is about zombies so hits the vibe you’re after.

anything by Maggie nelson is great for short attention spans, she writes in paragraphs and switches storylines/informations with each paragraph

Helen Phillips – The Need. I picked it up to read a few pages and read the whole thing in one go. It’s short with short chapters and scary in a very sad and thought-provoking way.

David sedaris’ books are in essay format. They are very funny and very well written.
