** I mean FICTION! HELP ME ENJOY FICTION! Goodness
Hi all, I’ve always been a non fiction gal. I love history and so anything Cold War related is my thing.
I read a non fiction book a few years ago- 7 husbands of Evelyn Hugo and I LOVED IT.
Here’s where I need help. I don’t like fantasy or sci-go ( please forgive me! I know I’m boring!). What I do enjoy is something that COULD possibly be real even if it’s fiction. ( I feel like I’m annoying just writing this!- sorry!) Even though that 7 husbands of Evelyn Hugo is fiction, the fact that it was love story and could have happened, made me like it.
So that all being said, sorry in advance, can someone help me?
Thank you friends!

i am going to be annoying and give you a fantasy but HEAR ME OUT…. some people view what happens in it as an elaborate representation of mental health struggles/delusion/etc. so I think it falls under the kind of fiction you are talking about and i generally think nonfiction readers would like it tbh
Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
for other stuff, my favorite historical fiction is Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See, I highly recommend it since you like historical stuff
in general i think you should check out historical fiction since i think it would be an easy way to ease yourself in to fiction 🙂
