You know, I've been thinking about the synopses on the back of the books.

Like, on the one hand, it's convenient, because instead of going online to find out what a certain book is about, you can just turn it around and read briefly about the plot.

But on the other hand, the synopsis may simply spoil an important point, or the synopsis may distort the plot of the book, that is, you read the synopsis, it is written about one thing, but in the book itself everything is generally different. Or it happens that the synopsis praises either the writer or the book. And you read this and you think: "I realized what a popular author and what an awesome book this is, and now can you just outline the plot briefly?". There was also a moment when I picked up a book that didn't have a synopsis (it was "Throne of Glass").

In general, on the one hand it is convenient, but on the other hand you cannot know how true this synopsis is and whether it will be a summary of the plot at all.

    It boiled over for me.
