I’m looking for recommendations of movies/books that are “monster” novels/ romances. I loved The enchanted life of Adam Hope by Rhonda Riley, Monstrillo by Gerardo Sámano Córdova, Mrs. Caliban and Francesca Lia Block is my favorite writer I like Alice Hoffman style books I really enjoyed Second Nature and Illumination night. My favorite shows are Penny Dreadful, BTVS I’m looking for movies shows similar to The shape of water, Phantom of the opera 2004. I’m not into alien, tentacles, fairy type worlds. More like monster, paranormal, or supernatural adjacent romance spicy books are ok but not necessarily looking for smut.
