so yeah i really like coming of age books, dramas but not really romance. definitely no fantasy or anything but maybe horror?? and also music is a huge interest of mine but i’m not really sure where id start with music related books. ty!!

I recently read Mongrels by Stephen Graham Jones. Loved it. Coming of age story with werewolves. It is a horror and can be a little brutal, but those scenes weren’t lingered on or discussed in overly graphic detail (in my opinion, anyway). I will warn you though, there’s animal death, if that’s something you want to avoid. They’re werewolves, so they’re carnivores, and they hunt.
