    Okay so a little breakdown:

I LOVED Moloka’i and Daughter of Moloka’i. Highly, highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t already read them. Alan Brennert’s other book, Honolulu, is equally as good.

I re-read the entire Hunger Games series after I saw TBOSAS last November, lol

If He Had Been With Me was a 2-star book imo. I need to learn that booktok is not the place to get book recommendations.

The Housemaid and The Housemaid’s Secret are both enjoyable. I got through them each in like 2 days, and while they’re not the best books, I found them readable enough to want to know what happens next.

Flowers for Algernon was superb. Didn’t emotionally destroy me like a lot of people on Reddit say, but that’s because I went into it already knowing what happens because I read the short story for a class in college.

The World That We Knew was good. Went into it with no expectations, ended up finishing it in around 4 days. I enjoyed each narrative and it even made me cry at least once.

Naomi Novik is a tricky author for me, I’m learning. I enjoyed Uprooted and rated it 4 stars. Read it in just a few days. Spinning Silver, to my understanding, is generally thought of as the better book of the two. But I personally didn’t like it. Took me like 2 weeks to finish because I just found it boring and kinda convoluted.

Swordheart was a fun read. The ditzy FMC and irritated me at first, but she grew on me quickly. Maybe that’s what’s meant to happen. I plan to read more T. Kingfisher

The Beekeeper of Aleppo was good. Kinda hard to follow at parts, but overall good.

I saw something on social media about Warrior Cats a month or so ago, and I decided to re-read the first series (6 books) for nostalgia reasons since I was obsessed with them when I was like 10. On book 4 right now. Obviously they’re meant for children so they’re not the best books ever, but I’m still enjoying them.

I loved The Women. There was one or two parts that irked me a little, but overall I liked it a lot. I have The Nightingale on Libby right now, and I plan to read that when I’m done with the fourth Warrior Cats book.

I kinda brain dumped here, lol. But thanks for reading.
