looking for a book to bring with me on my birthday trip! i’ll be turning 25 and i want to read a feminist fic/nonfic book or just something on navigating your life as a woman (ie women friendships, relationships, selfworth, etc) that‘s not detached from reality (iykwim)

– a thousand splendid suns (khaled hosseini)
– recollections of my nonexistence (rebecca solnit, or literally anything by her)
– i feel bad about my neck (nora ephron)
