I’d love to read an apocalyptic book that focuses on survival, isolation, loneliness without any monsters/zombies, supernatural beings, big voilent groups of people.
Just a human/humans coming to terms with their new reality. Trying to survive in a practically dead world.
I don’t mind grotesque and disturbing content.

The Stand by Stephen King
Also, in my opinion, the best apocalypse book.
The Dog Stars
My preference too, though it’s hard to not meet the violence but I don’t mind that, it fits. Zombies, space and such, not so much for me. I’ve enjoyed these…
The Stand, already mentioned. I’m currently re-reading this, listening to the audio edition 🎧
