Hi! Doing a bit of a challenge to myself to read one to two books a month and recently became interested in the Middle East and especially Iran.
I'm looking especially for Fiction that shows daily life and is "immersive" . I want to understand a country through the eyes of a character and how they see the world.
Preferably post war or 1900 onwards.
No political statements so happy also for Kurdish literature and both Israeli and Palestinian as two separate books.
