Any easy reads that move quickly and are not too profane; strange characters and situations are fun for me. Books like The Importance of being Earnest by Oscar Wilde or The Raven Conspiracy by Michael Spratt; that comment on society in a humorous manner are a plus. Lots of dialog instead of massive descriptions of setting are easier to read for me. A modern setting with mild mystery or crime is great.

Beartown by Fredrick Blackman. Quirky small town in Canada built around kids hockey. Some mystery with the death of some characters as backstory.
