Hey, so this is very vague. I’ve read a lot in school, but in university I just couldn’t really find the time. Now I’m starting again, I’ve read a few books that were laying around at home but I’ve noticed my interests changed a lot oder the years.
I’m looking for books about growing up, about friendships, maybe a bit bitter and sad (like life is, I’ve lost my best friend last year and maybe it would help reading about a situation like that?). About entering adulthood, challenges in life, etc. I hope somebody knows what I mean.
I’m not a fan of books where romance is everything, I don’t mind it being mentioned but I don’t like If everything is focused on it.
Maybe somebody has read a book that could fit.
Thanks to all in advance, I’ll keep looking through older posts 🤞🏼

Additional note:
I’ve stumbled upon “us in the before and after” and that seems like a book I’d love, I’ll definitely check it out
Mayflies by Andrew O’Hagan touches on friendship, age, and loss.
