I'm currently reading Windswept: Walking the Paths of Trailblazing Women by Annabel Abbs and I've recently gotten into walking, myself. I've been doing 6 miles a day and I find it quite meditative. I'm looking for any books that focus on this aspect of walking. I'd also be interested in the physiology of walking. Walking pilgrimages (being loose with the terminology) are also on my mind including the famous thru hikes such as the PCT or Appalachian Trail to long walks of a more traditionally religious origin such as The Caminho, Abraham's Path, or the Kumano Kodō
