I'm particularly fond of British/London crime novels, from Clockwork Orange to the Rivers of London and Layer Cake.
But my all time favorite is City of Tiny Lights by Patrick Neate.
I've read one of Neate's other novels, The Twelve Bar Blues, and it was good but it didn't have that same Tommy Akhtar sizzle.
Anyone got recommendations for something along those lines?
