I grew up asian and never been outside of asian countries. There's a lot of deprogramming I need to do when its comes to black culture and I feel like books by black authors from the disapora or native would help a lot.
Please suggest me some books focusing on black joy that are truly about black people just being happy (I'm not interested in romances at the moment. I would like to avoid heavy themes like sexual assault, police brutality, racism, micro agressions but non graphic description and minor mentions are fine. Just don't want them to be the focus of the book)
