This isn't a conventional suggest me a book but it sort of fits.
When I was younger, around 2003-2004 I read a book from the school library and I remember it was about a deer and the life in the "herd". It spoke about mating season and also about trouble the deer had with another male who wanted his female. I remember something about the antlers being broke or something.
It was not a book for kids, just a narrative
The italian version of the book had a dark blue cover with the dark shape of a deer drawn in the middle.
I undedtand it's not much but does anyone have any idea of what book it is? I'd love to read it again
