Looking for a non-explicit/spicy fantasy with a soldierly male love interest who is serious and cold with everyone but the kind and sweet, princess-y female love interest. I just finished Six Crimson Crows by Elizabeth Lim and this relationship dynamic is in the background of the sequel and I love it so much! Hoping to find something like it in a similar, Asian-inspired setting but with the main couple. Open to suggestions that veer from the Asian setting if it really hits the dynamic. Thanks!
