I’m in a reading slump and TikTok seems to suggest the same books over and over.
I really enjoy thrillers that dive into fucked up family relationships. Whether it’s immediate family or marriages. Examples of what I have really loved are The Roanoke Girls by Amy Engel. Brother by Ania Ahlborn. What lies between us by John Marrs. Behind Closed Doors by B.A Paris. Don’t enjoy Colleen Hoover.

I’m not sure if this is what you are looking for, but the family in this story is very dysfunctional. It’s also one of my top 10 favorite books so I love to recommend it.
