Lit Fic recs

I am very peculiar about my literary fiction choices. I have not enjoyed most of the lit fic that I have read. However, I read Good Material by Dolly Alderton and The Wedding People by Alison Finch earlier this year and LOVED them. I couldn’t tell you why but they just hit the spot. Can you recommend anything similar to these?

Lit Fic I’ve read and did NOT enjoy:
Cleopatra and Frankenstein (but enjoyed Blue Sisters)
Everybody in this room will someday be dead
Tom lake (but did enjoy State of Wonder by Patchett)

Edit: I am a big fantasy, monster, magical realism, and thriller fan. I didn’t state that above as I was looking for just true literary fiction recs but I’m also open to any book anyone loves or recommends. 😂
