I was talking with someone the other day and they brought to my attention that clearly, when we read books it’s very, very different. I knew peoples scopes of creativity were different but there was a piece of me that assumed everyone reads with SOME form of mental images, even if it’s just one singular object – but apparently not. My friend doesn’t read with any metal images, she said she focusing on strictly just the words themselves?
I’m super fascinated and I would love to hear what other people experience while they’re reading a book! I know I’m not suggesting a book, but I’m hoping to reach a book reading community 🤍
Thank you so much 🤍

I definitely imagine them ^_^ Sometimes I dislike it when I try to imagine a character because I tend to associate them with an existing person and I HATE THAT PERSON so yeah it kinda makes me stop reading for a while ..
I definitely hallucinate vividly while reading.
