I started a book club with my brothers and mom. We are looking for a good book to discuss before Christmas. My older brother suggested Terry Pratchett – Hogfather. My mother is 63, Catholic, from Cincinnati who likes historical fiction, religious and other “sweet” books. I’m afraid this book will not hit the mark. Is there any suggestions for a Christmas book that can meet in the middle somewhere?

Maybe A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens?
How about Skipping Christmas by John Grisham?
Hercule Poirots Christmas by Agatha Christie. The Gift by Cecilia Ahern. The Deal of a Lifetime by Frederick Backman.
That’s a tough one.
