Preferably something short and sweet 😀 I’m trying to get into fantasy and I’ve honestly never read one before lol. I’ve heard they can be pretty in depth and you have to learn of whole new fantastical governments and magical regimes within the book. That stuff sounds cool and all but I don’t want my brain to overcomplicate while I read my first fantasy 😭 I don’t even mind a YA fantasy. Recommendations would be well appreciated Tysm!! 🥰

* The Key to Infinity by M.M. Cordero is a blend of science fiction and fantasy. Nazi’s, Space Pirates, Cat-a-roos! Great adventure that skews Y.A.
* The Ocean at the end of the Lane by Neil Gaiman is a very short novel that first reads as a straight up fantasy adventure story but by the end, you will want to read it again and see how all the narrative pieces have changed when you have the complete story.
the lunar chronicles by marissa meyer is a YA series that I think was pretty easy to get into! it’s basically a fantasy take on classic fairytales
