Basically what the title says. It's my birthday, my husband is deployed, and I don't have family or friends at this duty station. Want to buy myself some books to fill the time. I'm open to all genres!

If you like/tolerate fantasy, {{Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree}} is a book filled with friendship and camaraderie. It’s about an orc who retires from adventuring to open her own coffee shop.

I just listened to the audiobook My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell you She’s Sorry by Fredrik Backman, I fell in love with the world and the characters.
I also recently read Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt which reignited my passion for reading. I use Libby and my library card for most of my reading.
The Switch by Beth O’Leary was also a fun read.
