*The Last House on Needless Street* by Catriona Ward.

      >This is the story of a serial killer. A stolen child. Revenge. Death. And an ordinary house at the end of an ordinary street.
All these things are true. And yet they are all lies…
You think you know what’s inside the last house on Needless Street. You think you’ve read this story before. That’s where you’re wrong.
In the dark forest at the end of Needless Street, lies something buried. But it’s not what you think…

    2. Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir, there’s basically twists and turns throughout. It’s lesbian necromancers in space. I can’t really say anything else about it because I don’t want to spoil anything. But prepare to be gaslit and still have a wonderful time.

The Traitor Baru Cormorant by Seth Dickinson. I haven’t read the rest of the series because the first one was already so dense and I needed a breather. You’d think the title would properly prepare you to the twist, but it doesn’t. I was completely floored and internally screaming for at least 30 pages because I couldn’t believe it.

The 7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton (also called 7,5 instead of 7 because of the close resemblence to the title The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo). This is a time loop mystery that kept me guessing the whole way and it wasn’t until the end that you truly know what happened. And you realise that every plot hole was in fact not a plot hole but it just didn’t make sense before you know the whole story. Just masterfully done.
