First time poster here,
I typically read fiction (and major in the fantasy genre). I’m currently wrapping up my first history read in years (Undaunted Courage by Stephen E. Ambrose), and am interested in trying another. I’m specifically hunting for an engrossing option that focuses on female experience throughout history. Though a specific biography is an option, I’m thinking more sweeping history…specifically North American, indigenous American, or European American female experiences. I’m open to different time periods, but I’d like it to be one that really draws in the reader. I don’t have the mental space for anything too dry or academic in this season of life.
