I just recently finished The Breach trilogy by Patrick Lee. Thriller, mystery, suspense, sci-fi-ish…Really fun. I’ve been trying to find more stuff like that, but haven’t had much luck. I also fell in love with Tales From the Gas Station and am finishing up Book 4 now. That’s got some weird campy stuff going on that makes me smile.
I’m trying to find more stuff in that line. Weird, sci-fi, mystery, maybe a bit of a humor (where appropriate). +1 if it’s available as an audiobook since that’s almost exclusively how I enjoy books these days (yay for having a kid).

Highly recommend the Area-X anthology by Jeff VanderMeer. Heavy weird vibes. The first book is what the movie Annihilation is based on. The books are much more ethereal.
