TW: obvious from the title but SA/R*pe
Hello, I have a friend who grew up in the absolute worst environment and was basically assaulted her whole life. She is now safe but during a discussion about her severe guilt for sex (even though she heavily desires it often and has it still) I came to realise that she doesn't really understand the difference between sexual assault/r*pe and consensual sex. I tried explaining it to her to the best of my ability and I think she retained some of it but I feel a book that explores this topic would do much better. I don't want to shame her for her sexually active lifestyle but I want her to be safe and actually be consenting to having sex with people and not just doing it with anyone that brings it up just because 'sex feels good'.
