Really the best way I can describe what I want is through other books that I thought were great. But the thing is, I don't want them to be too similar, I want something completely new to think about and imagine.
Books I've liked recently are Perfume by Patrick Süskind and The Stranger by Albert Camus. So I guess I would maybe like something kind of philosophical/weird but still story-like. I also recently read Lolita and, while it was obviously very uncomfortable to read at times, I would be fine with something that would make me similarly uncomfortable.
Idk, I want something to think about and I want it to be original. Can anyone help?
