I recently read the Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller and it really took my pre-teen years, when I read through and really enjoyed a lot of the Greek Myths. Since I enjoyed that quite a bit, I though next I would do King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, another young obsession, and now I'm almost through The Bright Sword by Lev Grossman. That's also gone really well, so next I was thinking–Beowulf? I did a quick search and found a prior thread mentioning The Mere Wife: A Novel by Maria Headley and Grendel by John Gardner. Any other suggestions? If it matters, I'll probably do an audiobook, so extra credit for good narration (incidentally I found the voice narration in both The Song of Achilles and The Bright Sword to be excellent and think that it significantly enhanced my enjoyment of the books).
