JUST getting into reading, all the books I’ve read so far have been heavy content wise. Looking for something lighthearted & fun, & “cutesy” I’m 24F. Not super interested in like smutty romance, but I’d do like a cute lil romance or whatever. I’m honestly looking for any suggestions!

one book (series) that i find cutesy is shooting my life’s script by paula pimenta! the books (there are 4 of them) are very light-hearted and easy to digest, as well as having the whole “coming of age” theme

Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne is a really sweet romance, friends to lovers, opposites attract, late coming of age, not smutty, though they do “get together” at the end of the book.

The Comeback by Lily Chu, strangers to lovers, forced proximity, closed door (they have sex but we don’t see it)

Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez, it is explicit but not smutty if that makes sense? Like they have sex in the story but it’s not the whole book. And it’s super adorable and sweet. Such a loving and kind MMC.

Funny Story by Emily Henry is the same thing, it’s explicit but not smutty. Roommates to lovers, coming off a breakup, really sweet cinnamon roll MMC.

    3. “All Things Bright and Beautiful” series By James Herriot: Watch a socially awkward vet stumble through early 1900’s Yorkshire taking care of all sorts of animals.
